Big Dreams But No Time to Build Them

David H Lawrence XVII is a professional actor, performance coach, and course creator based in Los Angeles, CA.

He was overwhelmed and overworked in his business. David had big plans for his business but could never get around to doing them.

Although he had worked with a virtual assistant before, he didn’t know how to effectively delegate his work and was left playing all the roles in his business.

He reflects, “I knew if I had some help, I could provide a better experience for my clients and do more of what I love.”

The Defining Moment:

Last Fall, David heard Great Assistant CEO, Tim Francis, speak about how to get and keep a Virtual Assistant. In that session, he learned how to expertly delegate minutiae so he could gain back his time and energy.

David recalls, “when l learned how the Great Assistant program works to match Entrepreneurs with Virtual Assistants and about the process they use to vet candidates, I was stunned by how detailed and effective the process was.”

He decided to work with Great Assistant to find someone to take on the necessary, but time-consuming administrative tasks in his business, and to teach him how to delegate work efficiently.

He adds, “I also needed my assistant to have a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. I needed someone who could work really well with the high profile clients (actors) we serve.

“Great Assistant presented me with excellent candidates for the job!”

More Time for the Work He Loves

In March 2019, David was matched with his Great Assistant, Stina, who quickly became his gate-keeper.

She took on the management of his calendar and email inbox, client support tasks, and technical tasks, like video-editing and website updates. David shares “I finally have time to focus on what I love most, and can now put together plans for new products and services.

“I know that when I get a booking for a last-minute event, I don’t have to panic about what I had previously planned and can rely on my Great Assistant to keep things moving forward.
“I have time to think about my business and acting practice and am able to focus on being a leader. It’s a joy and a privilege that I didn’t think possible.”

David’s Recommendation for Entrepreneurs:

“If you're thinking about hiring a Great Assistant to help you do more of what you love and less of what you don’t, you won’t be sorry!
“It was a great decision and I couldn’t be happier with the results!”
